Let it glow.
Let your heart love,
Let it show.
Let your feelings feel,
Let them through
Let you be yourself,
Let yourself be you
Let your eyes twinkle,
let them shine,
Let your lips kiss,
Let your praise glisten,
Let it glow,
Let everyone know, that you too
Have a heart.....

Choose Your Dream

You determine your destiny,
by making choices and plans.
You ensure a bright future,
by doing all you can.
So say what you mean,
and mean what you say,
Show people how much you care,
in every possible way.
Let your love shine through
and smile a smile that beams.
Believe in yourself
Chase all your dreams
Never give up
fight to the end
Set your goals high,
try and try.
Give one hundred and fifty percent
in everything you do.
Work towards your goals
so that one day they will come true.

And so it goes, another day,
diminished and forgotten.
And so it goes, another love,
turned tasteless, sour and rotten,
And so it goes, another heart,
left bleeding all alone.
And so it goes, another rhyme,
forced into a poem.
So why do we keep believing
if we only get hurt in the end?
What good is truth and honesty,
when you can't even trust a friend?
I can not keep forgiving,
cause everybody knows.
That's the way it is, that's life,
And so it goes.

One for the Seesaws

This I have never understood....

We chop down trees but chop up wood.
We draw down pain, we draw up wills,
We run down foes, we run up hills,
We eat food up, we down a drink,
Which is a little strange, don't you think?
We turn down offers and turn up noses...
Just one last thought and then this poem closes:
We should remember we poor clowns
that life is full of ups and down.
